I have been doing a small group study at Belmont on hymnwriters and their hymns and have posted the talks online. (They are also on the “RUF at Belmont” podcast if you subscribe to that.) There are 2 up so far, one on Anne Steele and one on Charles Wesley. The talk on Anne Steele is here and the talk on Charles Wesley is here
Look forward to learning more about the lives of these guys.
Thank you!
Regarding Seth Dyrness
Can someone tell me of what illness/condition Seth died? This blog had several paragraphs about his life, but I did not see how he died.
And what a life he lived! He is being rewarded greatly for all his love and service!
Hey Kevin, in your Anne Steel talk you mentioned a book that looked at hymns from a literary perspective, but I didn’t catch the name of it. What is this book?
